Project Coordinator

• These individuals, along with the County Weed Superintendents, are the core of our organization. Southwest Weed Management would not be able to carry out its mission without the dedication and effort of volunteers that hold these leadership positions.
• Chairperson: Con Fielding Con is the leader of the organization. He guides and directs the organization in strategic planning, financial assets, programs and services. He represents SWWM at meetings and interfaces with other organizations, partners and agencies.
• Vice-Chairperson: Steve McConville Steve acts for the Chairperson during his absence and leads product development teams and committees as directed by the Chairperson. The Vice-Chairperson interfaces with landowners and organizations, partners and agencies as directed by Chairman.
• Secretary: Ted Tietjen Ted maintains records, coordinates with Administrative staff and performs the functions of the Secretary as required. He ensures that records are archived and activities of SWWM are documented for future use.
• Treasurer: Duane Teter The Treasurer is in charge of all funds and assets of SWWM. He is responsible for balancing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, receipt and execution of funds. Con coordinates with Administrative staff and provides financial information to the organization at regular meetings and as requested by Executive Committee.
• County Weed Superindendent’s These individuals provide the expertise and knowledge of their counties, interact with other county officials and landowners. Without their support and effort, SWWM would not be able to succeed.
